  • Encourage the presence of natural enemies (e.g. lady beetles, lacewings, parasitic wasps).
  • Prevent plant stress by optimal watering, fertilizing and protection from sun and frost.
  • Choose suitable neighboring plants. Remove weedy areas and plant small-flowering plants to attract native parasitic wasps and flies.
  • Prevent the pests from getting into your home (seal any entry points and put up the window screens).
  • Clean the area of infestation. Remove any nearby weeds or tall grass and any hiding places like old boards and logs.
  • Apply ecological products for plant protection (e.g. mineral clay, neem oil, cedar sprays).
  • Introduce natural enemies - predators, parasites, or diseases (e.g. ladybugs, lacewings, minute pirate bugs).
  • If necessary, apply insecticide containing pyrethrin (GHS07: Harmful, GHS09: Environmental hazard).
  • No chemical information available.
